The Adaptimax Plus

Extremely high in quality. The Adaptimax Plus is CNC milled from high grade aluminium, before being anodised. It is then fitted out with an extremely hard wearing brass Nikon mount which is then chrome plated for even longer durability. Unlike our imitators who use an aluminium mount which quickly shows signs of wear, our brass bayonet is built to last.

The Adaptimax Plus is designed for all Nikon lenses, including the DX and G series of Nikon lenses which do not have an external aperture ring. It has a specially designed built in thumbscrew which can open and close the shutter of DX and G glass lenses.

Take a look at the mounting end of one of these DX or G lenses and you will see a small lever which opens and closes the shutter of the lens. Our elegantly designed thumbscrew opens and closes this lever so you can adjust the exposure easily by the eye.

The Adaptimax Plus gives a magnification factor of X5.4, which makes these adaptors perfect for shooting wildlife or macro. You can now get the shots that are impossible with the stock Sony PMW-EX3 lens. Fit on a 80-200 2.8, or 300mm F4 Nikon on the camera and the results will astound you.

Which of the Adaptimax adaptors fits your requirements?

The Original Adaptimax

The Original Adaptimax will work with all Nikon lenses with an external aperture ring.

If you already own or are going to purchase DX or G Series Nikon lenses,(the newer Nikon lenses with no external aperture ring) you should purchase the Adaptimax Plus. The Original Adaptimax cannot operate the shutter of DX and G Series Nikon lenses. If your lenses do not have an external aperture ring, you will require the Adaptimax Plus.

The Adaptimax Plus

The Adaptimax Plus works with all Nikon lenses, including DX and G Series. It will work exactly the same as the Original Adaptimax with Nikon lenses with external aperture rings.

So if you own DX or G Series lenses, or are considering buying newer Nikon lenses, the Adaptimax Plus is the right choice to make. Both the Original Adaptimax and the Adaptimax Plus are built to the same exacting standards and identical in quality.

The Adaptimax Canon EF to Sony PMW-EX3

The Adaptimax Canon EF to PMW-EX3 allows Canon EF lenses to attach directly onto the Sony EX3. There is a magnification factor of X5.4.

This adaptor will not work with Canon FD lenses. Aperture is altered on the Canon EF lens by attaching to a Canon camera, then transferring onto the PMW-EX3.
